HMF Group delivers stable results in a challenged market – and gears up for growth
"While the market has remained at a low level, we’ve kept our operating performance steady. We’ve scaled our business to meet market realities and stayed close to our customers,” says Mikkel Andersen, CEO of HMF Group. “Market fluctuations seem to be the new normal, so our ability to adapt quickly is something we’ll continue to strengthen going forward.”
Ready for the market recovery
With initial signs of improvement staring to show in the market, HMF believes that the second half of 2025 will bring new opportunities.
“We believe in our plan. We believe in the investments we’ve initiated. And we believe that the actions we’ve taken will start to deliver results in the second half of the year,” says Andersen. “In 2024, we freed up capital and set key initiatives in motion to prepare for growth. Now, we’re ready to act.”
HMF has focused on improving scalability and increasing efficiency. The company has optimised working capital and reinvested strategically into initiatives designed to secure growth – from expanding market presence locally and globally to strengthening customer relationships and service capabilities.
Agile, healthy, and positioned for growth
Even as revenue dipped slightly, the company kept a steady hand on the wheel – maintaining a lean, healthy business with a proactive mindset. HMF enters 2025 in a stronger position – financially stronger, operationally agile, and ready to grow – aiming to go beyond the billion mark.
“We’re pulling the right levers to drive growth. We know the market is out there, and we intend to take our share,” says Andersen. “We’re confident in our plan, we’re acting with purpose – and we believe being close to our customers will make the difference.“
2025 also marks HMF’s 80th anniversary – a milestone that reflects a long history of navigating changing markets and adapting to new realities. As part of the celebrations, the company will open its new Customer Experience Center in Galten and continue strengthening its presence in key markets.
Strong values and social responsibility
In addition to commercial initiatives, HMF Group continues its commitment to social responsibility. In 2024, the company donated DKK 6.6 million worth of advanced medical equipment to a local hospital, underlining its focus on making a positive impact beyond business.
